PINKIE PROMISE Gummy Secret: Find the Alligator
Find Gummy at Sugarcube Corner
- Character: Gummy is the alligator Pinkie introduces in the PINKIE PROMISE bakery welcome area.
- Interaction: Approach his encounter and let it play out. Pinkie describes him gumming ponies before he disappears into the bakery’s walls or vents.
Look for Gummy during the bakery welcome
Follow Pinkie into Sugarcube Corner and pay attention when she introduces the welcome committee. Gummy belongs to that encounter, rather than a separate ingredient search on the party checklist.
Give the character interaction time to happen
Approach Gummy when you reach his encounter. The useful distinction is between meeting the alligator and performing a preparation chore: this is a character reaction, not a task to put an item into a mixing bowl or carry something back to a station.
Pinkie explains that Gummy gums ponies he likes and gets around through walls and vents. Once the encounter has played out and he disappears, continue with the bakery scene instead of assuming his movement creates a new route you must enter yourself.
Make the visit a focused optional goal
If you are returning specifically for Gummy, reach Sugarcube Corner with that encounter in mind. You can concentrate on his introduction without also trying to complete every possible promise reaction during the same visit.
The secret location directory places Gummy among the bakery’s other optional discoveries. It also separates those bakery targets from the barn and train scenes earlier in Chapter 1.
Continue with a different kind of discovery
The PINKIE PROMISE secrets guide explains how to plan another replay interaction. The story badge guide serves a different goal: completing the farm, forest and chapter milestones rather than revisiting a single character encounter.
