PINKIE PROMISE Party Checklist: Chores and Hiding
Finish the two-sided party list
- Order: In PINKIE PROMISE, complete the front of Pinkie’s party checklist first. It flips over for the remaining tasks.
- Interruption: Stop preparation when Pinkie starts a hiding countdown. Resume the task list after the search has ended.
Let the active side set your next task
Pinkie explains that the list has two sides. Work through the side currently shown instead of searching the whole bakery for a later interaction before it is part of your objective.
Match each chore to its recognizable object
Use the task’s object as your destination. This reference groups the preparation jobs by a useful cue; your active checklist determines which one to do next.
| Task | Useful place or object |
|---|---|
| Inflate balloons | Party room balloon interaction. |
| Find party hats | Playroom toy chest. |
| Weigh sugar | Kitchen sugar interaction. |
| Get eggs | Ice box. |
| Find the pink party record | Parlor crate. |
| Light the candles | Candy table. |
| Pull taffy | Taffy interaction. |
| Crank confetti | Confetti interaction. |
Do not treat the table as a requirement to perform these in the listed order. The current side of the in-game list owns the sequence. The Sugarcube Corner layout guide helps you orient between the bakery’s main areas.
Interrupt a chore when Pinkie starts searching
A task is less urgent than the immediate search warning. When the countdown starts, leave preparation and get into cover. Once Pinkie has finished and tells everyone to get back to work, return to the active checklist.
The hiding guide explains that change of pace. Try to remember which task you were doing before the interruption, so that returning to work means continuing a clear objective rather than reopening every interaction in the room.
Continue after the list flips
Finish the front before expecting the back to become the next set of instructions. Later tasks include finding the record and following the spare-key objective. Keep checking what the story currently asks for instead of assuming the party is ready because the first jobs are finished.
For the food preparation itself, the cupcake task guide separates frosting and preparation from eating the cupcake during the finale. Completing a chore and taking your seat at the party are different parts of the chapter.
