- Rescue items: Find two small blue glowcaps beside the Everfree railway in PINKIE PROMISE.
- Use them: Bring the glowcaps to Fluttershy and press them to the vine knots. Be ready to move when the rescue turns into the forest escape.
Use glowcaps at the vine knots
Fluttershy explains what the vines dislike: the little blue mushrooms. The rescue uses those glowcaps at the knots holding her, rather than an attempt to pull her free by force.
Gather both mushrooms before leaving the rescue behind
Search the grass along the track edges near the stopped train and the trapped pony. Look for the small blue mushrooms, then return to Fluttershy to use them. The glowcap location guide concentrates on recognizing the item and keeping that search close to the rescue area.
The objective calls for two glowcaps. Finding one useful object does not finish the whole task; continue the rescue interaction until the second has been used and the scene moves on. Keep the trapped pony and the railway as landmarks so that gathering an item does not leave you searching for the place where it belongs.
Prepare to leave when the scene changes
The train whistle is followed by danger in the forest. Finish the rescue with the expectation that your next job will be movement, rather than another leisurely search around the stopped carriage.
