Escape the farm emergency
- First response: In PINKIE PROMISE, fill a bucket at the well and throw water at the barn fire while Applejack is asking for help.
- Change of plan: When Applejack tells you the fire is spreading too quickly, leave the barn, herd the chickens and head for the station.
Listen for the switch from firefighting to escape
The farm scene changes its goal. Helping with the fire comes first; once Applejack orders you to get clear, reaching the train becomes the task to finish.
Use the well while the fire objective is active
Take a bucket, fill it at the well and throw the water at the fire. Stay with that immediate interaction while listening to Applejack. The important signal is her dialogue saying the attempt is no longer enough; do not keep repeating an earlier task after the story has changed the objective.

Guide the livestock and leave the farm
Walk behind the scattered chickens to guide them back into the coop. Give each animal a clear direction toward the entrance rather than running past it toward an unrelated object. The chicken-herding guide focuses on that positioning task if it is the part slowing you down.
After the livestock objective, continue to the station and board the Friendship Express. The scene’s instruction to leave is more useful than trying to explore the burning farm for an optional interaction during the escape.
Prepare for a different kind of danger next
The train takes the chapter onward into the Everfree Forest. The forest chase guide explains the later jump-and-slide sequence. Keep the two scenes distinct: the farm asks you to respond to Applejack’s changing instructions, while the railway run demands attention to the route ahead.
On a replay, decide whether you are finishing the escape or looking for an optional farm interaction. Mixing those goals can make an otherwise clear evacuation feel confusing.
